protect and serve the doctors of chiropractic in Michigan and their
patients. The resulting organization, the Michigan Chiropractic
Society (MCS), has gained strength, wisdom and respect from the

Palmer Chiropractic
University. The
history of chiropractic education begins at the Palmer School of
Chiropractic. Started by the profession’s founder, Daniel David (D.D.)
Palmer, Palmer is chiropractic’s college.
The
Palmer Foundation for Chiropractic History was founded in 1996 in an
effort to preserve chiropractic history through artifacts, crafts,
and manuscripts. Forming the cornerstone of this historical account
is the home of the great developer of Chiropractic, B.J. Palmer. The
Palmer
Mansion reflects the eclectic tastes of a man who was as rich in
his philosophical and intellectual pursuits as in his personal
interests. Covering the stone walls and parquet floors are Oriental
art, Native American rugs, fine furnishings, and many excellent
examples of the
Roycroft crafts. |
